Hello Starseeds!

You may have noticed that it's been a while since I've sent one of these emails to you.

I've also posted much less on Youtube and the social media platforms... and here's why.

As some of you are aware, I tend to have multiple irons on fire most times. This year so far has been no different, and knowing this, I've been focusing on the parts of my business that aren't feeding the fire of burnout.

If I'm completely honest, marketing isn't my favorite thing in the world, and I'm looking to make it more of an artistic process.

I've dedicated myself to make sure there's REAL content out there, so that the internet isn't going to be filled with fake AI-slop. So if you were wondering about my stance on AI, I definitely don't support AI marketing or AI content, generative AI specifically. That being said, there could be uses for AI that could actually be good for humanity, but the way things are now... it's quite unethical, uses way too much natural resources and is often very misleading - not to mention the way it just takes things off of the internet without discernment and calls it a day. Not very original nor creative. AI writing and images all look the same and that's boring. AI-assistants are grade A people pleasers, and that essentially is their job.

Now, another reason for the lack of posting is because I'm going to start higher education in just a few short weeks! Earlier this year I did some work training at an artists association, and while I was there I also applied to several schools - six to be specific! (wtf bro) - from which Turku University of Applied Sciences accepted me for the degree of Project Management and Production in media and gaming. I'm quite excited, though this means I'm moving cities quite far in mid-August and will start plenty of new adventures. I will miss all of my friends and lovers in Helsinki a lot!

So... while I won't completely disappear, I'm pretty sure my public content will go down in volume... HOWEVER.

A couple months back I supported a couple of people on Patreon, just to see how the platform works and to of course see some of my favorite creators Patreon offers. I liked what I saw, and decided that I'll give Patreon another go as a creator.

NOTE: Here's an important update in regards to my physical products.

I am currently unable to ship my products to the United States due to global circumstances. Several European countries including Finland have stopped mailing of items to the US due to the changes in tariffs and customs fees, so this is something I unfortunately don't have a say in. As soon as this changes, which I believe it will eventually, I will let you know.

There are also a few other countries that they don't ship to, one of them being Israel. Email me contact@inspiringalien.com if you have any questions about this and I'll respond as soon as possible.

My intention is to relaunch my Etsy shop this autumn as well, so stay tuned for that! My bigcartel runs as usual, although there may be shipping delays due to my move.
